Meet Coach Dean Moskowitz

A lifetime in martial arts. A mission for balance.

Dean has trained in martial arts his whole life — first as a competitive MMA fighter, then as a coach to students from small children to seniors over 100. Boxing for Balance is where all of it goes to work for you.

Dean's experience: a lifetime of martial arts, a former competitive MMA fighter, ages 5 to over 100 coached, and more than 500 people with Parkinson's coached.

The story

From the ring to the people who need it most

01

The fighter

Dean has trained in martial arts his entire life and competed as a mixed martial arts fighter — the real thing, inside an octagon cage. The discipline, footwork, timing, and conditioning of the fight game are the foundation of everything he teaches.

02

The coach

Over decades of coaching, Dean has taught every age — from small children learning their first stance to seniors over 100 working on balance. That range taught him to meet every student exactly where they are.

03

The mission

Over the last decade, Dean has poured that experience into one mission: helping more than 500 people with Parkinson's — and seniors of every ability — move better, feel stronger, and stay independent.
